The flat Gaskets are for sealing barrel unions. FPM is a type of synthetic rubber and fluoropolymer elastomer, suitable for a broad range of applications, commomly referred to as Viton, it can be used with some Ketones and Esters. FPM combines excellent chemical compatibility with outstanding temperature resistance -20 °C to +180 °C, a high density and long lasting sealing performance. Also known as FKM or fluoroelastomer rubber. Due to the deformation forces involved when tightening the union, it is recommended that the seals are replaced each time the joint is disassembled
