We've improved our three-inch backing plate for superior ventilation to reap all the benefits of proper cooling.

The cooling effects of this the plate's improved ventilation produces a cooler pad face and a cooler working surface which increases both pad and tool life.

Note: Fits Griot's Garage 3" Random Orbital (item # 10739), the G8 (item # 10908), and certain random orbital/dual-action tools that accept a 5/16" - 24 threaded shaft. Is not compatible with the 1st generation 3" Random Orbital (item # 10685)
